Join Wildlife Watch!

If you join as family members of Shropshire Wildlife Trust, your children will automatically become members of the Wildlife Watch scheme, our junior branch. 

The aim of the Wildlife Watch to encourage children to engage with and their surroundings, appreciate wildlife, understand their environment and take action for the future.

Wildlife Watch Welcome pack

Children receive a new membership pack full of creative and engaging resources, including:

  • A membership  badge

  • 'Wildlife Watchers' handbook to wildlife watching
  • Wildlife stickers
  • Wildlife Watch (four times a year), our lively magazine (addressed to children) packed with features on UK wildlife and the environment news, events and competitions
  • Wildlife poster (four times a year), which focuses on specific wildlife topics.

Wildlife Watch Resources and Groups

Wildlife Watch also has a dedicated website full of resources to use and download.  From ID spotter sheets to activities to make, these are all free for your family.

As well as our local branches providing family events, we have one specific Wildlife Watch group in Ludlow that children that can join in with offering lots of fun outdoor activities. Join their facebook page, for information about upcoming dates.
