About the event

“I love getting well mucky and all my friends are here to play with!”  Ben, 7, Shrewsbury

Our sessions are split into two age groups (0-5) and (6-11) meeting at the same location. If you have siblings in both age groups, children of 6+ can be left with our experienced leaders whilst you stay with your little Wildling.

“I worry about how much time my kids spend indoors, but it can be scary letting them out to just go wild! Here I know they are having fun, being creative and getting loads of fresh air but also being looked after”  Jenny Fisher, Telford

A healthy snack and a drink will be included for all children and adults will also be provided with a hot drink.

Our kids’ outdoor fun sessions take place in the school holidays at three exciting locations: Wood Lane Nature Reserve, Ellesmere, The Cut Visitor Centre in Shrewsbury and Lightmoor Nature Reserve, Telford.  Check our What's On page for your nearest session.

Useful information:

We play outside whatever the weather and tend to get wet, even when it’s not raining!

Make sure you all wear old clothes as we like to get messy!

Bring a spare set of clothes and a plastic bag to put dirty ones in.

A small towel might also come in handy.

No sandals or flip-flops – wellies or dirty trainers are ideal

If it's hot, make sure everyone has a hat and sun cream

Our sessions are physical, outdoor, all weather activities, which take place in wild areas. Our leaders are all Outdoor First Aid trained and we risk assess all the sites and activities, however there is a risk of injury wherever children play, as there is risk of injury in life generally. Ultimately you are responsible for your child’s safety and behaviour during our sessions.
