About the event

Aimed at 18 months - 5 year olds, our popular Wildlings sessions offers children the chance to become a wild child, engaging their senses and encouraging a love of wildlife within a safe environment.

Sessions are led by our inspiring Wildlings leaders. Building dens, jumping in puddles, hunting for minibeasts and making mud pies is what Wildlings is all about! We have different themes with changing activities and games included. We usually have a fire on the go with tasty snacks!

Where and When

Wednesday Wildlings takes place at The Cut Visitor Centre, Shrewsbury, SY2 6AH, 10.30am - 12.00pm.

Our safe wild child area within our visitor centre gardens allows children to explore at their own pace, engage with other children and most importantly get mucky!

Who can attend

Sessions are most suited for those aged 18months - 5 years. Babies in arms can attend for free if accompanying an older sibling.

Older siblings allowed with suggested age cap of 7 years old due to young target audience for activities.
