Brown long eared bat - (c) Tom Marshall
Bat Detection Evening at Pam’s Pool’s Wildlife Reserve
Location:
Pam's Pools, Underton, Bridgnorth, WV16 6TY
We will meet at 9pm at the eco-cabin and walk around the reserve, led by naturalist Neil Nash.
About the event
We will meet at 9pm at the eco-cabin and walk around the 110 acre reserve led by Neil with his bat detector. The ground is uneven in places so wear sturdy footwear and bring a good torch plus your bat detector if you have one. There will be a handful of bat detectors available for attendees to use. Hopefully we will record enough bats to match last year’s successful event.
Tea, coffee & soft drinks will be on offer afterwards at the eco-cabin while we see if there are any moths in the trap Neil intends to set.
Should the weather be unsuitable on August 10, the event will be held on August 24 instead.
