About the event

Three quarters of the crop types grown by humans require pollination by insects – including strawberries and chocolate!

Pollinators are essential for many plants to set seed – much of our food production relies on insect pollination. Find out how you can help these vital creatures in your garden.

Make a lovely butterfly feeder to take home with you, and get inspired to grow a bee café complete with watering hole. Catch some pollinators for a closer look. Colouring, fact sheets, competition and lots of fun things to do! Come and join in – there’s something for everybody.
