You’ll be part of a team supporting a Shropshire-based environmental charity.

This role involves:

• Staffing our reception desk and shop at Shropshire Wildlife Trust Headquarters and Visitor Centre.
• Welcoming people, signposting them to meeting rooms, answering the telephone.
• Assisting the public with enquiries over the phone and in person.
• Room hire support and hospitality.
• Assisting with maintaining the displays and stock in the shop. 
• Assisting with merchandising and processing shop sales.
• Membership recruitment.
• Housekeeping, maintaining the standards and cleanliness of the centre.

Existing skills and experience requirements:                                                           

• Reception, customer service and using the telephone.
• Retail, using a till and cash handling.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Reliable.
• Happy to carry out a variety of tasks.

• You will be expected to comply with our Safeguarding policy and procedures and our Volunteer Code of Conduct.
• The position requires 2 satisfactory references from a previous recent employer or similar.
