Telford and Wrekin Council teams up with Shropshire Wildlife Trust to offer free activity sessions throughout August, with different Summer themes at 3 different locations.

This session is all about making stick crafts and environmental art using natural materials in the woods!

About the event

Have a go at activities like nature crafts, den building, Summer activities, bug hunting and so much more.

Bring a picnic and join in the sessions which start at 11am and run through to 2.30pm.

No need to book, just turn up and have fun!

The sessions start on Tuesday 6th August and will run throughout August at different locations across Telford and Wrekin and aim to re-introduce people to the green spaces and wildlife right on their doorstep.

Lightmoor location does have steps, gravel and off-track paths to get into the woods.

What to bring

Please bring appropriate outdoor footwear and clothing and prepare for all weathers. Please also bring your own refreshments and picnics as these will not be provided.
