A drop-in event at The Cut. We’re going to be exploring habitats – the places animals live. Some animals are really picky, some seem to live just about anywhere. Explore the garden and find as many different habitats as you can.
About the event
What do you know about habitats? Understanding what habitat a creature needs helps us to find them, whether we’re conducting a survey or just want a look at them. Everything needs food, water and shelter, and somewhere to breed. Find a perfect habitat for different species in the garden, and learn how we can improve and create habitats in our own gardens and green spaces. The more different ones we have around us, the more different creatures we’ll see! Good for biodiversity, and lots more fun than astroturf!
