About the event

Stuart Edmunds has coordinated the Shropshire Pine Marten Project since 2009 and is the chairman of Shropshire Mammal Group. In 2015, he was sent a photo of a pine marten in a south Shropshire woodland and consequently recorded more pine marten activity of Britain's second rarest mammal on his camera traps.

He will give an account of how he managed to find the martens, how to monitor pine martens using new technology and introduce the elusive world of these enigmatic animals.
